Reviving our legacy

Where history inspires renewal, growth, and long-term resilience.

Heritage

Honoring our past, embracing our future

East Millinocket has a rich history shaped by the legacy of the former paper mill, which once served as the backbone of the community. This site symbolizes resilience, reflecting the spirit of its residents who have weathered challenges and emerged stronger. Together, we can transform this legacy into a vibrant future filled with opportunity and growth.

Welcome to the interactive tour of the East Mill site. This tour is a work in progress and will continue to evolve over time, so be sure to check back often for new areas, updates, and added content.

To begin exploring, click the tour link below. Once inside the tour, click on the hotspots to move between specific buildings, locations, and points of interest throughout the site. If you click on a hotspot or link and nothing happens, that simply means that section of the tour has not yet been set up.

Currently, visitors can access the Paper Warehouse, Finishing Room, Training Center, Core Room, Train Shed, and the Recycle Warehouse.

If you ever get turned around or lost, simply look straight down at a 90-degree angle — you will always see the East Mill icon on the floor. Clicking this icon will return you to the starting point of the tour at any time.
